How to create and use agents
Create an AshnaAI agent by stating the job, letting the builder write a spec, attaching real tools, and running it. Do not paste a giant system prompt and hope. Permissions that need login or keys are requested before the agent can use those tools.
AshnaAI

Step 1: Write one job
Good: “Qualify inbound leads from the website form and draft a follow-up.” Bad: “Be my entire company.” The builder can attach tools to a job. It cannot invent your process.
Step 2: Review the spec
Check the selected tools. If a tool needs a login, finish that request before you run the agent.
Step 3: Run, then publish only what exists
Run a test with a real example. If the agent asks for something already in the chat, answer once and tighten the spec.
When the run is clean you can chat with the agent, schedule a task from the agent card, or embed it on a site you already host. AshnaAI does not build the website, and WhatsApp Business is a send-message connector—not an inbound customer inbox.
What a first agent is not
A first agent is not a company-wide bot, not an inbound WhatsApp inbox, and not a Tally post without desktop. One job, real tools, one test chat.
If the builder picks a connector you cannot sign in to, remove it. Permissions are requested before the agent can use those tools.

Frequently asked questions
- How do I create an agent in AshnaAI?
- Open the agent builder, describe the job in one sentence, review the spec and selected tools, complete any permission requests, then run a test chat.
- Do I need to write code?
- No. You need a clear job, access to the tools the job requires, and time to test the first run.
- What if the builder picks the wrong tool?
- Remove it from the spec and pick from the real tool list. Do not keep a tool you cannot authenticate.
- Can I reuse the old 2025 blog steps?
- Use this refreshed guide. The current builder is spec-and-permission based, not a single prompt field.
- How do I put the agent on my website?
- After a successful test run, open the agent card menu and choose Embed on Website. That opens the widget preview and script snippet.
- Where is the deeper design note?
- Read the research article on no-code agent specs and tool permissions.
