Instagram requires a professional (Business or Creator) account linked to a Facebook Page. Production publishing also depends on Meta app permissions and publicly reachable media URLs.

How to connect Instagram
Sign in to AshnaAI
Open https://app.ashna.ai and sign in to the workspace where you want Instagram available to agents and chat.
Open Integrations
Go to Integrations from the sidebar, or open Account and choose the Connectors tab. Search for the connector if the list is long.
Select Instagram
Find the Instagram card and click Connect. AshnaAI opens a secure sign-in window for the provider.
Authorize access
Review the permissions, then approve the request in the Instagram sign-in window. Keep the popup open until AshnaAI confirms the connection.
Confirm the Connected badge
When authorization finishes, the Instagram card shows Connected. You can now ask AshnaAI to use that account in chat or attach it to an agent.

Meta’s Instagram APIs require a professional account linked to a Facebook Page. Convert the account, then connect again.
